I find these stackable insert pans for the instant pot, quite handy. While reading the reviews I noticed references to pot within a pot and did not have to search very hard to find these. Appreciated is the added dimension these stackable pans provide.
The dish pictured above is 1/4 cup Country Choice Organic Steel Cut Irish Style Oats, 1/4 cup Viva Naturals Organic Quinoa, 100% Royal Bolivian Whole Grain, 1/4 tsp of Mommy knows best Pure Stevia Powder Extract Sweetener, 1/4 tsp of coarse sea salt, and a 1/4 tsp of McCormick Ground Cinnamon.
The steel cut oats and quinoa cooked as the eggs boiled in the stacked pans for 35 min. The separation allowed me boiled eggs instead of breaking them into the quinoa as I normally would do without steel cut oats or stackable pans. I tyically use sea salt, pepper, and garlic when breaking eggs directly into quinoa.
This dish adds appoximately 39 grams of protein to my intake today at a cost of 687 calories.
